The Shop’s one on one mentoring program has been designed to allow students to make informed decisions on their next steps in life.
What We Do
Our Vision
Our vision began in 2016 with a pilot program involving a few cars and a few youth. It proved to be a workable program, and by late 2017 our small team of volunteers and staff were ready to launch!
In 2017, we opened a 2000 square foot shop in Cambridge. In 2024 the facilities were upgraded to meet the increasing demand for this program.
Our focus from day one has been to invest in our youth and prepare them to be our leaders of tomorrow. This is accomplished using our one-on-one training and mentoring model.
The Shop is a registered Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) automobile dealership and a member in good standing with the Used Car Dealers Association (UCDA)

Youth Involvement
Each week, youth aged 13-19 get hands on experience working on various aspects of vehicle service and repair.
The youth will work one-on-one with a mentor in a safe and supportive environment. The content of the mentorship will be tailor-made to fit the interests and ability of the youth.

Since you are buying a vehicle that was donated to a charity, there will not be any tax added to the sale. We are an Ontario Motor Vehicle Dealer, fully registered with OMVIC, and will process all the paperwork for you and include the licensing and ownership transfer for no extra charge. You can buy with peace of mind, confidence, and without worrying about extra fees or taxes. It’s a win-win for all of us!
